Karen's artistic journey is as diverse as it is inspiring. Starting as a Graphic Designer, she later became the Head of Art in a maximum-security prison for 15 years. In 2012, Karen courageously transitioned into a professional artist, turning her passion into a livelihood. Now, she proudly finds herself "Living the dream."

Amidst the challenges of lockdown, Karen discovered inspiration in the #portraitsfornhsheroes initiative, leading her to create a series of 24 complimentary portraits for NHS workers. This impactful project transformed into a touring exhibition across Yorkshire and Humberside, kicking off with a solo showcase at the prestigious York Art Gallery.

Karen's art is a reflection of her keen observation of the world, drawing inspiration from the interplay of light on objects and its transformative effect on mood. Her work seeks out the narrative within these moments, creating a dynamic and engaging visual experience. Join Karen on her artistic exploration where every stroke tells a story.
